Welcome to the 2026 Prospect Wire All American Weekend! This year's event will be held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN on August 6-9, 2026
We will have a ton of information to come in the upcoming weeks. Invitations are going out frequently, and more will follow as we head into the summer. Here is what we can tell you so far:
THURSDAY, AUG 6: Welcome party (sometime after 5 pm) at a local establishment. We will provide more information on the WHERE, once things are finalized
FRIDAY, AUG 7: Workouts & Games - the kids will workout in groups (2030/2029 is one group, 2028/2027 is the other). The groups may be adjusted based on final roster #'s. Players will go through a modified INF/OF workout, catcher pop times and arm velos. There will be a full BP on the field as well. Once workouts are done, players will get dressed in their uniforms and play Game 1 of the 3 game series. Which group goes first will be determined in the upcoming weeks, based on which group is larger.
SATURDAY, AUG 8: Workouts & Games - the groups will swap times (whoever was in the morning on Friday, goes in the afternoon on Saturday). There will be BP on the field, followed by Game 2 of the 3 game series for each group. Following the end of the games, all players will return to the stadium for some player competitions (Group Activity)
SUNDAY, AUG 9: Show and Go Day - the first group will show up, stretch and warm up, and play Game 3 of their series. At the conclusion of the game, players and their families are welcomed on to the field for final words and pictures with family, other players and coaches. While this is going on, the other group will be warming up for their Game 3. Following that game, they will have their time for pictures and they are free to head out. The goal is to have both groups done by 1-1:30 pm so families can get on the road. ***IN THE PAST - THE YOUNGER AGES ARE USUALLY THE FIRST TO GO ON SUNDAY, WHICH USUALLY MEANS THEY ARE DONE AROUND 10:30/11 AM***
We are working on more details for the event, and will provide as we gather them up. There will be 1-2 HOST hotels with discounted rates. Erica Schwartz will be in touch with registered families as soon as those blocks are set up. She can also assist with setting up vacation rentals if you prefer to go that route, or help you book any hotel property you would like to stay at outside of the host blocks. She can be reached at Erica@prospectwire.com
***PLEASE NOTE - The event will have a welcome social at a location TBD. Players will receive their gear, get information about the event and have a chance to take pictures with their families before the weekend kicks off. The Welcome Social usually takes place after 6 pm on the THURSDAY prior to the event starting.
