Prospect Wire is excited to kick off our annual West Coast Championships! This is one of two Prospect Wire events going on this weekend, with the other being in Florida. The West Coast Championships will see 23 Teams in the High School aged divisions competing in Mesa, AZ.

We have a number of players to keep a close eye on who will look to perform on the field for their teams this weekend. Keep an eye on the @PW_Players Twitter page this weekend as our PW Scouts will be out and around the complex looking for the top performers in each game. Also, 2026, 2027, & 2028 graduates will be watched closely for potential invites to the Prospect Wire All American Weekend. 

Nick Grote (2028) of Nomadic Baseball looks to add to his Player of the Game resume as he's won the award two previous times in PW events.

Colman Smith (2027) of Nomadic Baseball has had success in previous PW events & he'll look to continue that this weekend. 

JT Sullivan (2027) of Nomadic Baseball will be one that our staff will be keeping an eye on he's had success in previous PW events and has recently been up to 84mph. JT will certainly be someone our staff will be keeping an eye on as a candidate for the PW All American Weekend.

Jorge Roman (2024) of Angels Red had a phenomenal outing in his last PW Event going 5IP with 7k's.

Sawyer Palevsky (2026) of Nomadic Baseball is another big arm to keep an eye on this weekend. Last year Sawyer threw 4 perfect innings while striking out 6.
