Coach Jason Sanders expects his 2025 Mount Dora team to carry the torch of success that the Bulldogs have churned out over the years. In 2024, the Bulldogs won the District and advanced to the Regional Semi-Final where they lost a heartbreaker to Lakeland Christian. Look for the Bulldogs to be a deep and well rounded team that has talent in all three phases.

Mount Dora is excited about the return of Ethan Priest (2025 LHP, Air Force), Beckham Stirling (2025 RHP/OF, Newberry), and Jacob Hair (2026 UTIL). The Bulldogs expect a number of new contributors this season from guys such as Kenny Mallon (2025 LHP, NCF), Jayden Wise (2026 C/OF), Braden Waring (2026 IF), Jacob Calton (2026 IF/RHP), Eli Feld (2026 IF/OF), Alex Wise (2027 IF/RHP), Britton Wise (2027 OF/RHP), and Weston Barrett (2028 IF).

Offensively, look for Hair (.354, 17H, 18RBI, 8SB) to take on a bigger role in the lineup as the most experience bat returning for Coach Sanders. On the mound, the Bulldogs return their ace from last season in Priest who was 6-2 with 2.40ERA, 59.1IP, and 67K last season. Beckham Stirling will take on a bigger role this year after putting together a solid 2024 season where he went 2-1 with 2.07ERA, 23.2IP, and 23K.
