Prospect Wire 2025 Florida High School Team Outlook:

Coach Tom Woodley and his Tritons are looking forward to the 2025 season as they have 13 returners and have added a key transfer at catcher in Morgan Waltz (2026 C/UTIL). They will have to work around an injury to a key player in Romero Gist (2026 IF/RHP), but feel like they have the pieces in Landon Diaz (2028) and Colin Raftery (2027 C/UTIL) to help make up for what they lose in Gist. Coach Woodley's Triton team is going to rely on their athleticism and versatility to string together a successful 2025 season.

Offensively look for Prospect Wire All American Princeton Marino (2026 IF/RHP), Jacob Gorra (2025 1B/LHP), and Xavier Muentes (2026 IF/RHP) to be the catalyst for the Triton Offense. Marino had a great Sophomore season with 22 hits, 16RBI, 12R, 7 Doubles, and 2 HR. On the mound, Coach Woodley will lean on Kelan Jamison (2025 RHP/UTIL) and Xavier Muentes to be the workhorses, but look for DJ Dwire (2025 RHP/1B) to play a bigger role on the mound as well. Jamison was the Tritons most reliable arm last year with 27.1IP, 2.56ERA, and a 3-2 record.
