Coach Dave Wisneski was there when Horizon High School first opened their doors in 2021 as a new public high school in Orange County. However, as they enter their fourth year they are looking to take the next step and claim their first winning season in the school's young history.

The Hawks will need to replace a few key contributors both on the mound and in the lineup, but they return a solid core who looks to carry the standard left behind by the groups before them. Look for Seniors Alex Galan (2025 OF), Jose Massanet (2025 IF), Cooper Mapes (2025 IF/RHP), and Jaden Blanco (2025 C) to lead the team. Also, look for some new faces to contribute such as Reid Patton (2027 IF/RHP), Sebastian Davila (2027 IF), Braydon Crow (2027 LHP), and Victor Santeliz (2028 OF/RHP) to help the Hawks this season.

Team defense will be the key to the Hawks success as they are relying on some younger talent, but Coach Wisneski believes that his squad will continue to take positive steps towards sustained success for his young program. Senior bats Massanet, Mapes and Galan look to step up for the offense and build off of their .300 or higher batting average from last season.
