2026 NextGen Spring Kickoff Preview
Prospect Wire continues its spring campaign this weekend with the NextGen Spring Kickoff in our Central Florida home of Polk County. Featuring 28 teams across the 13u and 14u divisions from all over the great state of Florida, this event once again brings together some of the most promising young talent in the region. Historically, the Spring Kickoff has been a proving ground for future standouts, with several players being added to the Prospect Wire All-American watchlist after competing in this event. This year’s field looks poised to continue that tradition, showcasing deep rosters with elite talent and teams ready to compete deep into Sunday. Here are a few teams and programs to keep an eye on as potential contenders for a deep playoff run this weekend:
Central Florida Pokers (Oakland, FL): The Central Florida Pokers have long been one of the most respected organizations on the Florida travel ball circuit, building a tradition of success through elite player development, strong baseball education, and meaningful exposure for athletes aspiring to compete at the next level.
