2025 SoCal Fall Classic Preview
Prospect Wire rolls on with its fall lineup as the SoCal Fall Classic heads to beautiful Irvine, California. Year after year, this event has showcased some of the top programs on the West Coast and has featured numerous future PW All-Americans – and 2025 looks to be no different. This year’s field will include 40 teams across the 14u – 18u divisions, with representation from California, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. Here are some teams to keep an eye on this weekend.
Firehawks Baseball Academy (Los Angeles, CA): Firehawks Baseball Academy has built a strong reputation on the travel ball circuit for its commitment to player development and producing tough, gritty teams. This week, the program is sending three squads to the SoCal Fall Classic – one in the 14u division, one in the 15/16u division, and one in the 17/18u division. Each team is primed and ready to make a deep playoff run and take home the trophy.
GBG Colorado (Denver, CO): GBG Colorado has established itself on the national travel ball circuit with elite talent, high-level coaching, and a proven track record of helping players reach the next level. This weekend, the program is sending two teams to the SoCal Fall Classic – one in the 15/16u division and one in the 17/18u division. Both squads are primed to make a deep playoff run and look to bring some hardware back to Colorado.
Prime (San Bernardino, CA): Prime is a well-known travel ball organization build on elite player development and supremely talented teams that are always a threat to win any event they enter. This weekend, they are sending four squads to the SoCal Fall Classic – one in the 14u division and three in the 15/16u division. All are eager and ready to make a deep playoff run and continue the program’s winning tradition.
West Coast Red Sox (Thousand Oaks, CA): The West Coast Red Sox are a well-known travel ball organization that has built their reputation on strong coaching, player development, and providing athletes with opportunities to play at the next level. This weekend, they are sending two teams to the SoCal Fall Classic – one in the 15/16u division and one in the 17/18u division. Both squads will look to continue the Red Sox winning tradition and make some noise in the playoffs on Sunday.
Humildes 16u (Downey, CA): Humildes Baseball is a Prospect Wire regular at the West Coast events and is always a threat to win it all. The program has built its reputation on player development and fostering a true family atmosphere among players and coaches. This weekend, they are sending their 16u squad to the SoCal Fall Classic. Fresh off a Firecracker championship this past summer as a 15u team, this group is hungry for another big performance and eager to add more hardware to their trophy case.
Nomadic Premier (Gilbert, AZ): Nomadic Baseball is a Prospect Wire regular at West Coast events and is an international organization that is known for its high-performance training and commitment to providing players opportunities at the college and professional levels. This weekend, they are sending their 14u squads up over to compete in the SoCal Fall Classic, with their sights set on bringing home more hardware for the trophy case.
Utah Scorpions (Herriman, UT): Excited to welcome a brand new team to PW Baseball as the Utah Scorpions make the trip from South of Salt Lake City, the Scorpions are ready to prove they belong with some of the PW regulars and hold their own in Southern California in a loaded up Underclass division. We can't wait to see what they can do, and look forward to them becoming a staple at our Utah, California or Arizona events in the future.
