After a great start to the summer in Florida and Arizona we hit the road again this week to Ogden, Utah for the 2nd Annual Ogden Open. Last year we saw a bunch of talented teams and players inviting several players to our All-American event. This year the Ogden Open will feature 21 teams ranging from 15u-18u from all over Utah and Idaho. Some of the teams and programs to look out for are:
BlueChip (West Jordan, UT): BlueChip’s teams are known for having talented gritty teams that play the right way. They have 5 teams in the 2025 Ogden Open, three in the 15u/16u division and two in the 17u/18u division featuring five college commitments.
Trosky Utah (Riverton, UT): The Trosky Utah baseball program is known for their team’s premier talent and discipline. Anytime a Trosky team is in an event they are a threat to make a deep run. This year they are bringing five teams spread across the 15u/16u and 17/18u divisions.
Utah Dirtybirds (Holladay, UT): This will be the Utah Dirtybirds first Prospect Wire event. They are bringing three teams all in the 15u/16u division with both 2027 and 2028 grad classes represented. Definitely an organization to keep an eye on to make a deep run in the 15u/16u division.
IPB 16u (Boise, ID): The Idaho Prospect Baseball program is known for their winning tradition at PW events winning the 2023-2024 San Diego Invitational and the 2025 West Coast Championships in the 18u division. This IPB 16u team looks to continue that winning tradition this weekend at the Ogden Open.
