Prospect Wire 2025 Florida High School Team Previews:
Parrish Community Bulls
The Parrish Community High School Baseball team is coming off of a school record breaking season for the youngest public school in Manatee County. However, there will be plenty of change this year as the 2025 Bulls team looks to replace 10 Seniors from the 2024 team and is now under the direction of new Head Coach Ryan Kennedy who makes his return to coaching after leading the Lakewood Ranch Mustangs for 9 seasons from 2013-2021. The Bulls lost a number of key players from the 2024 team including Troy Guthrie who was a 10th Round draft pick of the Toronto Blue Jays.
The 2025 Bulls are looking to reload though as this is not a rebuild season for them with the return of a number of talented players including Tyler Cripe (2025 UTIL, Navy), Jonathan Maassen (2025 C, FGCU), Jabrien Quiles (2025 OF), Alex Tallo (2025 UTIL), and Prospect Wire All American Wesley Anderson (2026 RHP). Cripe led the Bulls last year in both hits (33) and RBI (24), while Tallo led in slugging (.439). Anderson is the most experienced arm returning for the Bulls as he was 2nd in IP (37.1), K's (48), and tied for first in wins (7). Look for catcher Jonathan Maassen to anchor the defense and help guide the Bulls pitching staff as he has played in 87 of the Bulls 88 Varsity games since he has stepped on campus as a Freshman.
Parrish will have new faces making contributions this year after graduating 10 seniors last year. Look for some young homegrown players who could play a role this year such as Tyler Brown and Vince Barry. Also, the Bulls will look to some key transfers such as Jayden Peters (2025 UTIL), Daniel Norbeck (2025 RHP, SCF), and Bishop McKinney (2025 IF) to bring them back to the regional playoffs for a 4th consecutive season.
Our staff is excited to see the Bulls in action at the Hurricane Classic Powered by Prospect Wire in March!
