The Prospect Wire Ogden Open has come to an end after we crowned champions in 3 different age divisions!
14U Champions: Utah Performance
15/16U Champions: LBC
18U Champions: Chanchos
14U MVP: Logan Gregory of Utah Performance was 8 for 10 on the tournament with 2 double, 1 triple, 6 RBI, & 5 Runs.
14U Most Valuable Pitcher: Mason Greeno of Utah Performance went 5IP allowing only 1 run with 7K's.
15/16U MVP: Cayman Sanchez of LBC went 7 for 11 with 4 doubles and 2 triples on the event. His double in the championship put him in scoring position to come around & score the game winning run.
15/16U Most Valuable Pitcher: Gage Farr went the distance in the championship game allowing no runs or walks while striking out 5. Farr was 84-86 with his fastball & paired it with a late breaking slider to keep hitters off balance.
18U MVP: Jordan Jones had 5 hits for the Chanchos including a double & 2 triples. Jones drove in 6 runs as well during the event!
18U Most Valuable Pitcher: Jackson Hill went 5.2 IP on the event while striking out 11 only allowing 2 hits and no runs during his time on the mound.

Tad Grange (2027) of Lobos 16u the lefty kept a talented LBC lineup at bay for 6IP & 7K's.
Degan Rigby (2024) of the Chanchos impressed in the 18u Championship game sitting 84-87 pairing with a sharp breaking curveball.
Amari Gutierrez (2028) of Utah Performance was dominant in the 14U Championship game 78-80.
Cohen Nelson (2028) of Utah Performance got the job done in the 14U Championship on the mound & at the plate to carry his team to victory..
Gehrig Marble (2024) of the Chanchos tore up bracket play at the plate. The Salt Lake CC commit did damage in the middle of the Chanchos order all day.
Dax Whitney (2024) of Idaho Falls Bandits 18u gave his team the lead in the semifinal game with a 2 run HR in the 6th. The Oregon State commit tore it up at the plate all weekend.
Maddox Webb (2026) of RA Pirates 18u impressed in the Semi-Final game sitting 83-86. Webb displayed high end arm talent for a 2026.
Easton Seeley (2025) of RA Pirates 18u carried his team to victory in the Quarter-Final. The tall, lanky RHP sat 82-84 & topped 85 with his FB that rode well at the top of the zone striking 7 over 4.1IP.
