Prospect Wire is excited to welcome 73 teams to Polk County over Memorial Weekend. This weekend will kick off a loaded schedule for us at Prospect Wire and it looks to be one of our biggest, and best, events of the Summer!

Talent will be all over the diamond this weekend! We will have a few Prospect Wire All American Watchlist candidates look to punch their ticket to Vanderbilt such as Ashton Hovda (2026 IF-Knights Knation) and Wesley Anderson *video below* (2026 RHP-Knights Knation).

A few 2027s look to make their mark & earn invites to Vandy as well in Brennan Jones (2027 IF- Florida Panthers), & Brock Budreau *video below* (2027 UTIL-Knights Knation).

We are also excited to see the return of 2023 Prospect Wire All American Alumni Ryland Beumel (2027 UTIL- Florida Panthers). Beumel has added some strength since we saw him in Vanderbilt last August. He put together an impressive Spring High School season hitting in the middle of the order for a talented Hardee lineup and will look to do the same for the Florida Panthers this weekend.

There will be no shortage of college commits on the field this weekend with over 50 players committed to play at the next level highlighted by USF Commit Easton Beach (2025 MIF- Lakeland Hawks), UCF Commit Tyler Lomas (2026 IF-Rawlings Stars), Northeast Commit Eric Cha (2024 IF-South Florida Bandits 18U), and a pair of Bethune Cookman Commits Jovaugh Davis (2024 OF-Arbelo Baseball) and Amarri Daniel (2024 UTIL- Arbelo Baseball).
