2026 Southeast Championships Preview
Prospect Wire Continues its Florida summer circuit this weekend with the Southeast Championships on the east coast in Palm Beach, Florida. This event has traditionally been loaded with some of the top organizations from across the state along with numerous Prospect Wire All-American candidates, and the 2026 edition looks no different. The tournament will feature 39 teams from across Florida as well as one organization making the trip down from New York competing in the 13u-18u age divisions. With this much talent spread throughout the field, fans can expect highly competitive matchups all weekend long as teams battle for a championship in one of the premier events on the Prospect Wire summer schedule. Here are a few teams and organizations to keep an eye on as action gets underway.
Vipers Baseball Club (Palm Beach Graden, FL): Vipers Baseball Club is a regular on the Prospect Wire circuit and has built a reputation on elite player development and fielding tough, gritty teams that are always a difficult matchup for any opponent. This weekend they’ll be sending out a total of five teams to compete in the Southeast Championships with one team in the 13u division, one in 14u, one in 16u, and two in the 18u division. Across every age group, the Vipers bring deep rosters filled with talent, athleticism, and competitive energy. With the organization continuing to trend upward each season, all five squads are prepared to make deep playoff runs and look to start the summer off hot at one of the premier events on the Prospect Wire circuit.
Top Tier Roos EC (Palm Harbor, FL): The Top Tier Roos are a nationally recognized travel ball organization that has built its reputation on having elite talent and their ability to prepare players for the next level. Year after year the organization continues to produce high-level athletes and college-ready prospects, making them one of the more respected programs on the travel ball circuit. This weekend the Roos will be sending five teams to compete in the Southeast Championships with three squads in the 18u division and two in the 16u division. With experienced rosters, depth across every lineup, and a competitive culture throughout the organization, all five teams are prepared to make deep playoff runs and look to add even more hardware to their already impressive trophy case as they kick off the summer season.
NLB (Tallahassee, FL): NLB is a nationally recognized travel ball organization and the winningest program in Prospect Wire history. Over the years they’ve built a reputation for fielding extremely talented teams that play the game the right way while consistently competing for championships across every age group. Their winning pedigree, player development, and competitive culture have helped establish NLB as one of the premier organizations on the travel ball circuit. This weekend NLB will be sending two squads to compete in the 18u division, two in the 16u division, and one in the 14u division. Across all age groups, NLB brings deep rosters filled with athleticism, talent, and experience that make them a threat to make deep playoff runs throughout the weekend. As one of the elite programs on the Prospect Wire circuit, NLB will once again look to add more hardware to its already impressive resume and continue separating itself from the competition.
IS Elite (Wellington, FL): IS Elite is a recognized program on the Florida travel ball circuit and a consistent presence at Prospect Wire events. The organization has built its reputation on fielding tough, gritty teams that bring energy, compete hard, and play the game the right way, making them a difficult matchup for any opponent they face. This weekend IS Elite will be sending both of their 16u squads to compete in the Southeast Championships. Grit Fusion/Bayside Yankees (New York, NY): Grit Fusion makes the trip down south from New York City this weekend for the Southeast Championships, sending two teams to compete with one squad in the 18u division and another in the 16u division. Grit Fusion has become a regular at Prospect Wire events early in the summer and has built a strong reputation through elite player development and their ability to prepare athletes to compete at the next level. Both squads will bring talent and a competitive edge into the weekend as they look to make some noise early during pool play.
