PW Summer Classic Preview
Prospect Wire continues its summer circuit with the PW Summer Classic in Fort Pierce, Florida. This annual event continues to grow each year, consistently attracting some of the top organizations from across the state and showcasing several future Prospect Wire All-Americans. The 2026 edition is shaping up to continue that tradition, bringing together a talented field of teams looking to compete at a high level and make a statement. The 2026 PW Summer Classic will feature teams from 13u through 17/18u divisions, with programs traveling from across Florida to compete in one of the premier summer events on the Prospect Wire schedule. With championship aspirations and plenty of talent across every age group, here are a few teams and organizations to keep an eye on as action gets underway in Fort Pierce.
Freshwater Storm (New Smyrna Beach, FL): The Freshwater Storm are a well-known organization on the Florida travel baseball circuit and a regular participant at Prospect Wire events. They have built a strong reputation for developing highly skilled, well-coached teams that consistently compete at a high level and present a tough matchup for any opponent. This weekend, the organization will be represented with 10 teams competing in the PW Summer Classic, including three teams in the 15u division, four teams in the 16u division, and three teams in the 17/18u division. All 10 squads will look to build off the momentum of the 15u National team, who are coming off a championship performance at the PW World Series in the previous event. The organization also captured a 15u championship at the 2025 PW Summer Classic, further establishing their success on the Prospect Wire stage. With the depth, experience, and winning culture throughout the program, expect Freshwater Storm to be one of the organizations to watch closely as action gets underway.
904 Cubs (St. Augustine, FL): The 904 Cubs are a well-known organization on the national travel baseball circuit and have built a strong reputation for their player development and highly talented teams that are capable of making a deep run in any event they enter. This weekend, the organization will be represented by two teams competing in the 17/18u division. Both squads enter the PW Summer Classic with the depth, talent, and experience needed to compete against some of the top teams in the field. With championship aspirations and the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball, the 904 Cubs will be a team to watch as they look to make a deep playoff run and bring home some hardware from Fort Pierce.
USA Prime Florida (Jacksonville, FL): USA Prime is a nationally recognized organization with affiliates located throughout the country and a strong reputation for developing some of the top talent in travel baseball. This weekend, USA Prime Florida out of Jacksonville, FL will compete in the PW Summer Classic, bringing a talented group of teams ready to compete on the Prospect Wire stage. The organization will be represented by three teams, including two squads in the 15u division and one team in the 16u division. All three teams feature elite talent, strong coaching, and a commitment to playing the game the right way. With the depth and skill throughout the program, USA Prime Florida has the tools to make a deep postseason run and compete for championship hardware in Fort Pierce.
FL Elite (Palm Beach Gardens, FL): FL Elite is a well-known travel baseball organization on the Florida circuit and a regular participant at Prospect Wire events. They have built a strong reputation through their player development and commitment to preparing athletes to compete at the next level. This weekend, FL Elite will be represented by four teams at he PW Summer Classic, including one team in the 14u division, two teams in the 16u division, and one team in the 17/18u division. Each squad brings a combination of talent, experience, and strong coaching that will make them a tough opponent throughout the weekend. Wit the depth throughout the organization, expect FL Elite to be in the mix as they look to make a deep playoff run in Fort Pierce.
Kangaroo Court-Tallo 13u (Bradenton, FL): Kangaroo Court-Tallo is a recognized travel baseball program on the Florida circuit and a regular participant at Prospect Wire Events. They have built their reputation on fielding elite talent, fundamentally sound teams, and well-coached squads that are consistently a threat to compete for a championship at any event they enter. The organization looks to carry the momentum from a strong spring and early summer campaign, where they consistently found themselves in the mix to compete for titles, into the PW Summer Classic. With impressive pitching depth and offensive firepower throughout the lineup, Kangaroo Court-Tallo has the talent and experience needed to make a deep playoff run this weekend.
