2026 PW Summer Classic Player Spotlight


2031 Jase Baldwin

Kangaroo Court-Tallo 13u

 

Jase has an athletic frame and showcased his ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Offensively, he features a simple setup with a short, compact swing, good bat-to-ball skills, and a mature approach that allows him to consistently put the ball in play. Over the weekend, he collected four hits, drove in four RBIs, and scored two runs while posting an impressive 0.571 batting average. He was even more dominant on the mound, commanding the strike zone with a polished three pitch mix. His fastball sat 71-73 mph, complemented by a deceptive changeup at 66-68 mph and a curveball at 60-63 mph that kept hitters off balance. Across eight innings, Jase allowed just two earned runs while striking out five. Jase’s outstanding two-way performance played a major role in leading his team to the 14u championship, and his dominance on the mound earned him MVPitcher honors.



 






2030 Camden Clanton

Space Coast Renegades Elite

 

Camden has a big, strong frame that projects well as a middle-of-the-order bat at the next level. Offensively, he features a balanced setup with a short, simple swing, excellent barrel control, and a mature gap-to-gap approach that allows him to consistently produce quality contact. Over the weekend, he tallied six hits, drove in two RBIs, and scored one run while posting an impressive 0.545 batting average. He also showcased his speed and instincts on the bases, swiping three bags. Camden’s consistent offensive production and ability to create pressure on the basepaths were key factors in helping lead his team to a runner-up finish in the 14u division.



 




2029 Engel Matos

Freshwater Storm 15u National

 

Engel is a twitchy athlete who projects well as a top-of-the-order bat. Offensively, he features a balanced setup with a short, compact swing, excellent barrel control, and a mature gap-to-gap approach that allows him to consistently put together quality at-bats. Over the weekend, he collected seven hits, drove in four RBIs, and scored three runs while posting an impressive 0.467 batting average. He also made an impact on the mound, coming on in relief during the championship game to toss a scoreless inning and help secure the title. Engel’s all-around performance was instrumental in leading his team to the 15u championship and earned him MVP honors for the 15u division.



 




2028 Andrew Hussain

Miami Diamondbacks 16u

 

Andrew has an athletic frame and proved to be an offensive threat throughout the event. Offensively, he features a balanced setup with quick hands, excellent barrel control, and a mature all-fields approach that allows him to consistently create loud contact. Over the weekend, Andrew collected 10 hits, drove in two RBIs, and scored three runs while posting an impressive 0.588 batting average. He also showcased his speed on the bases, swiping five bags. Andrew’s offensive production was a key factor in leading his team to the 16u championship and earned him MVP honors for the 16u division.



 




2026 Austin Still

Space Coast Rockets 18u

 

Austin has a long, projectable frame and showcased his ability to impact the game in multiple ways. Offensively, he features a simple setup with a short, compact swing, good rhythm, and consistent timing that allow him to make quality contact. Over the weekend, he collected five hits, drove in four RBIs, and scored four runs to pace his team’s offense. He also made an impact on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while striking out two hitters. Austin’s two-way performance played a pivotal role in leading his team to the 17/18u championship and earned him MVP honors for the 17/18u division.



 




2026 Hayden Carns

Hayden has a big, strong frame that projects well on the mound at the next level. He features a smooth, repeatable delivery, stays in his legs well, and works with good tempo throughout his outing. He commands the strike zone with an impressive two-pitch mix, featuring a fastball that sat 86-89 mph and topped out at 90 mph with late arm-side run, complemented by a tight curveball at 75-79 mph with sharp, late break. In his start, Hayden tossed six innings, allowing just one earned run while striking out 10. His dominant performance on the mound played a key role in leading his team on its playoff run.
