2025 Treasure Coast Classic Preview



Prospect Wire returns to one of our East Coast homes, Fort Pierce, Florida, for the highly anticipated Treasure Coast Classic. Every year, this event draws elite talent, showcasing top-tier programs from across Florida – and this year promises to be no different. With 47 teams competing in age groups ranging from 13u to 18u, players from all over Florida will battle it out for the Treasure Coast Classic championship trophies. Here’s a closer look at a few teams to watch throughout the weekend.


 

Chiefs Baseball (Vero Beach, FL): Chiefs Baseball is a well-known organization in the Florida travel ball scene, recognized for its top-end talent, fundamentally sound play, and well-coached teams. The Chiefs captured the 18u championship at the Treasure Coast Classic in 2024, and this year’s 18u squad looks to replicate that performance and bring another Prospect Wire trophy back to Vero Beach this weekend.


 

CBU Hawks (Indialantic, FL): The CBU Hawks are a nationally recognized travel ball organization that has built a strong reputation for elite talent, well-coached teams, and playing the game the right way. They’re a consistent threat to win it all in every tournament they enter. This CBU quad is coming off a championship run at the Fall Championships, bringing their total to four Prospect Wire titles this calendar year. They’ll look to continue their winning tradition and add a fifth championship at the Treasure Coast Classic.


 

R3 (Saint Petersburg, FL): R3 is a well-known travel ball organization in Florida and a regular on the Prospect Wire circuit. They’ve built a strong reputation for fielding scrappy, competitive teams that are always a tough matchup. This weekend, R3 is sending two squads to the Treasure Coast Classic – one in the 14u division and another in the 15u division – both are primed and ready to make a deep playoff run.


 

DLC Select 16u (Ft. Lauderdale, FL): DLC is a well-respected organization on the national travel ball circuit and has made a name for itself by developing top-tier talent and providing players with opportunities to compete at the next level. This 16u team is coming off an impressive championship run at the Prospect Wire Fall Championships and is prepped and ready to make another strong push this weekend at the Treasure Coast Classic.


 

South Florida Giants 2026 (Jupiter, FL): The South Florida Giants are a well-known team on the national travel ball circuit. They’ve built their reputation on elite talent and a tough, gritty playing style that makes them a challenge for any opponent. This 18u squad is primed and ready to make a deep run into Sunday and will look to take the championship trophy back to Jupiter.


 

NLB (Tallahassee, FL): NLB is a well-respected organization on the national travel ball circuit and a regular at Prospect Wire events. Known for fielding highly competitive teams, NLB is always a threat to win any tournament they enter. This weekend, they’re sending two teams to the Treasure Coast Classic – one in the 16u division and the other in the 18u division. As the winningest program in Prospect Wire history, NLB will be looking to add even more hardware to their trophy case.


 

USA Prime (Jacksonville, FL): USA Prime is a nationally recognized travel ball organization that has built its reputation on developing elite talent and fielding well-coached teams that are always a tough matchup. This weekend, they’re sending two teams to the Treasure Coast Classic – one in the 16u division and one in the 18u division. Both squads are looking to showcase their skills and make a deep playoff run into championship Sunday.


 

Wow Factor (West Palm Beach, FL): Wow Factor are a well0repsected travel ball organization and a regular at Prospect Wire events. They’ve built a strong reputation for their player development and commitment to helping athletes compete at the next level. This weekend, Wow Factor is sending three teams to the Treasure Coast Classic – one in the 14u division, one in the 15u division, and one in the 16u division. All three squads are prepped and ready to make a deep playoff run and add another trophy to their collection.
