Carter has a big strong frame with more velocity to come. He attacked hitters with a mix of his fastball sitting 76-79 and his curveball sitting 57-59. He hides his pitches well making it difficult for hitters to pick it up out of his hand. His fastball has late arm side run and his curveball has 12-6 action with good depth. In his 7 innings of work Carter gave up 0 earned runs and had 14 strikeouts.

Christian has a big strong frame and is an intimidating presence on the mound. In his 1 inning of work, he consistently filled up the zone with his heavy fastball with late arm side run sitting 86-88. His fastball was so dominant that he didn’t need to go to his curveball, but it was 72-74 in warmups. Christian is definitely an arm to keep an eye on for the future.

Offensively, Nico was a threat all week on his team’s championship run notching 5 hits and scoring 5 runs.
