We continue our look at the 2025 PW All American Player Spotlights. The following players have been officially invited to attend the All American Weekend, August 7-10, in Austin, TX. We take a look at 4 more players who have garnered an invitation:

2029 Christian Gaines MIF

FBH Angels 14u Grey

Christian is a tall physical presence on the diamond. At the plate Christian is a constant threat usually hitting at the top of the order. He has a short compact swing with good hand eye coordination that allows a good balance of power and adjustability. Defensively Christian has plus range and regularly makes tough plays look routine. He has good hands, quick feet, and makes strong accurate throws across the diamond. Throws a heavy FB with some late life; good velocity for grad class. Has a good, late breaking SL. Lot more to come from this young arm. 

2029 Landon Thompson 1B/OF/LHP

CBU 14u United Savinon

Landon is a big strong lefty with a ton of power to all fields and shows a lot of maturity in the box. He has a good gap to gap approach and stays balanced and connected that gives him the ability to hit for power and average. He has plus hand speed for his age and has shown the ability to handle elite pitching. Defensively he is a very solid first baseman. Works well around the bag and regularly bails out his teammates with his picking ability. On the mound, shows a good, heavy FB with movement; has good command of the strike zone for a young arm; impressive follow in years to come as he develops.

2029 Jake Maggy OF/1B

Jake is a big strong kid with a ton of power to all fields. Jake has a short simple swing with a consistent bat path allowing him to spray the ball all over the field. He has shown a mature approach in the box rarely getting fooled and regularly hitting off-speed pitches and fastballs hard. Defensively Jake plays corner outfield and first base, he has good range for his size and takes good angles in the outfield. At first base he has good footwork around the bag and picks it well.

2029 Cruz Guzman CF

Natty Boys 14u

Cruz is an athletic top of the order bat that sprays the ball all over the yard with plus speed. He does a good job staying connected with plus hand eye coordination giving him the ability to consistently find barrels. Defensively he has plus range in the outfield and takes good angles covering both gaps. Has a strong accurate arm from the outfield.
